My name is (as you might have guessed) Lance Burns. Amongst other things I am a research scientist and software developer. My principal specialist area is Distributed Artificial Intelligence, with most of my other work being in the military distributed simulation and/or visualisation fields. I'm also an occasional musician and artist.

• Encephalon - A flexible service which allows client applications on many platforms to harness Distributed Artificial Intelligence for problem-solving. An offshoot of my PhD work, aimed at a much broader audience.
• Voles - A humourous (or at least silly) action game which uses Encephalon for AI.
